Tough
Enough
is an
Album that consists of original Rhythm & Blues / Rock compositions written by Jean Shy.
In 1982
Jean
formed
her Band
Streetblues
with
Vladimir Rada
(Bass), Gerd Freymann
(Drums), Hannsjoerg Scheid
(Guitar) and Mike Hoffmann
(Piano).
The Album was produced by Jean and her Guitarist
Hannsjoerg with the Streetblues formation, and
other excellent Guest Musicians from the
Frankfurt (Germany) Music Scene.
When King Edward Records
made a contract with
"Record Shack Records" in England for
the release of
Tough
Enough in the
United Kingdom, the Band Name was changed to
"Jean Shy & The Shy
Guys". Soon after
the UK release, The Shy
Guys consisted of
only new members.
Jean Shy & The Shy Guys have been a formation
ever since. Two of the "original" new Shy
Guys Guitarists Klaus Zimmermann, and
Martin Hoette, are still part of the Band to
date.
