KUEHN

Already at a very young Age
Sascha made his attempts at
the Piano. Fun eventually
turned into seriousness:
He collected his first Stage
Experiences with many Groups
and Artists amongst many
others i.e. Gene "Mighty Flea"Connors,
AlbieDonnely, Soulpower, CheapThrills, N.O.H.A.
1996 he graduated from
the Music Conservatory and
received his Music Degree
with -A- Grades. Since
shortly before then he is
a sturdy Member of THE SHY
GUYS and excites the
audience with his "funky
piano". |

KLAUS ZIMMERMANN

|
 Klaus was
born in Wesel, Germany where he also
grew up. In the 70's Klaus started
learning how to play the Guitar - 100%
self taught.
His
orientation were commercial Blues- and
Rock Musicians such as Jimmy Hendrix,
Johnny Winter, B.B. King, Rory Gallagher
and the Allmann Brothers.
1978 Klaus
formed the Band "Stampede" with which he
toured throughout Germany and France.
1984 he met Jean Shy. Shortly after they
formed "THE SHY GUYS" of which Klaus is
a member to date.

MARTIN
HOETTE

Martin was
born and raised in Duisburg, Germany.
After finishing Music
School, getting his Degree in Piano, he became a
member of the Band Airborne.
On
the Search for a second Guitar
Player, Klaus introduced Martin to Jean.
She asked him if he would
like to play a member of THE
SHY GUYS. Martin
therefore is one of the "Original Shy Guys"
since 1984.
In his off time he likes to listen to
classical Blues, amongst others
i.e. Johnny Winter, but also enjoyes
blues oriented Hard Rock á la
AC/DC and Gary Moore. |

BERNHARD
SPIESS

|
Bernhard
learned his Instrument in
the Music School of his
hometown Wesel (Germany).
After that he studied Music
from 1989 - 1994 and
graduated from Folkwang
Essen. 1993
- 2001 he taught Drums
at the Music High School
Oberhausen (Germany).
Since 1985 he
is a permanent member of THE
SHY GUYS.
Between 1985 and 2003 he
also did Tours with Le Clou,
Jack Radics, Christian
Wunderlich, Tyree Glenn Jr.
und Roy Herrington.
As a Drummer
Bernhard also participated
in various TV Productions
for RTL Television Germany,
such as Groovedelics,
Soulconnection und T2C and
others.

MICHAEL "SCHNUFF"
STROHM

Background Vocals- |

|
Schnuff was
born in Duisburg, Germany.
He gathered Stage
Experiences with diverse
Groups, amongst others also
with Tyree Glenn Jr.,
Albie Donnely, and
Klaus Doldinger.
Since 1975 he also produces
Jingles, Multi Media Spots
and Bands in his own
Recording Studio "City
Sound" in Duisburg, Germany.
Schnuff plays an excellent Bass,
sings and composes. Since
1999 he is working with Jean
Shy & The Shy Guys.
The Jean Shy CD
Amazing Grace was
produced in "City
Sound". Also the Jean Shy
Gospel CD
One
Day was mixed,
mastered and in parts
recorded at "City Sound". |

BERND
WINTERSCHLADEN
-Saxophones- |
Before Bernd
became a Shy Guy in 1992, he
played his
improvisational rich Sax in
front of big Audiences
already with "The Piano
Has Been Drinking". He
is still actively working
with the Talking Horns
as well as in the
Winterschladen/ Mendel-Duo
(which he founded).
Besides playing with JEAN
SHY he also regularly plays
in the Harald Schmidt
Show Band (Harald
Schmidt TV Show, Germany).
He likes to relax and find
Inspiration in Music by
Miles Davis, Prince, Sonny
Rollins and Tom Waits.

GEORG MAHR

Organ- |
|
Georg is one of Germany's few
and best B3 Hammond Organ
Players.
For Years he has
been playing with many of
the Top European Touring
Bands including Supercharge
and The Blues Brothers
Revival Band.
Throughout the
Years Georg was a Guest
Musician on many Jean Shy &
The Shy Guys Shows. Jean
definitely wanted him to
be part of the
One
Day CD
production and Tours.
Therefore Georg is the
newest member of Jean Shy &
The Shy Guys. |
